The Essential Driver Training Course
If your Provisional Licence was issued after April 4th 2011 then, according to new legislation, you will have to take an Essential Driver Training course. EDT is a course of 12 one-hour lessons which are designed to cover certain critical driving skills and improve your practical driving skills. Each lesson has a set of expected outcomes - these describe what you should be able to do at the end of a lesson.
